The Solid Rock

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord!

Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.

Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving;

Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms." Psalm 95:1,2

God is worthy of our worship because He is the Creator of all things (Ps. 95:6). Our lack of trust in Him will cause a division between us and God that we must not allow to happen. Faithful obedience to our Lord is the main ingredient of genuine worship. He is our rock; the One on whom we can depend.

"The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer" (2 Sam. 22:2)

There are people in our life that we know without a doubt we can depend on; family, friends, co-workers; no matter what, in good times and in bad times they have our back. We should go to God first and allow Him to be the One we trust and depend on and He will lead us to people that He would want us to confide in and love us through our times of need. Sometimes we need only Him; trusting and obeying; building our faith and hope in the One who made us.

There is no guessing how He feels about you, no hoping that he hasn't abandoned you. He is The Solid Rock! He anchors Himself to you the moment you invite Him into your heart and He will never let you go. We are in the hands of the One who is in control.

Our great God gives without limits. Now doesn't that give you a sense of security and peace knowing that our God is all the things He says He is? It does me.

Let's walk in the Truth fully aware of His presence and completely trusting in Him.

I love you & He loves you more!

Lord, You are my Rock. I depend on You and trust that You are always there with me because Your Word says so. May I continue to learn all that You are in me and may it build my faith so that I can stand firm in You. Help me as I walk this journey of my life. I need You. In Jesus' name. Amen.
