All Sufficient Grace

But He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness."

2 Corinthians 12:9

God is so good! He meets me here in my quiet time and breathes life into me so quietly and subtly, and for some reason it always amazes me. Just this morning I was writing in my prayer journal, asking if He would remove the walls around me; remove the fear that entangles me and help me live boldly for Him. I asked His forgiveness for missed opportunities of being a witness for Him. About the time I finished writing that, my devotional book slid out from under my journal and the above scripture was what I read (2 Cor. 12:9). His grace is all I need to live this life I pray for. His power is made perfect through my weakness. All I have to do is allow Him access into my heart, He will do the rest. I will move and act and react at His command; I can be His hands and feet, "...through Christ who strengthens me." (Phil. 4:13).

I am always amazed at His willingness to meet me right where I am. To speak to me through His Word and give me just what I need when I ask; "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God...for instruction in righteousness" (2 Tim. 3:26).

I challenge you today to pray and ask God for the desires of your heart. To show you what He would have for your life. To help you in your weakness and make you bold in His sight. To meet you right where you are and speak to you through His Word.

"And my God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Phil.4:19)

I love you & He loves you more!

Lord, Help us to pray boldly. To love you with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength. To honor You in all we do and say. Be real to us, Father, and may we rejoice in all that You have for us. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
