A Tribute to my Grandchildren

"Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of heaven. And He laid His hands on them and departed from there." Matthew 19:13-15

This is a tribute to my precious grandchildren:

Sutton Grace- the little one that Jesus is holding...

I have prayed for them before they were even thought of. My heart swells with love and pride as I think of them. May God's blessings always be on them and may their hearts be turned to Jesus on the day He knocks.

So many different prayers I'll pray

For all that you might do

"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth." (3 John 1:4)

And if I never told you

I want you to know

As I watch you grow

I'm here for you whatever this life brings

So let my love give you roots

And help you find your wings

And may conviction keep you strong

Guide you on your way

May there be many moments

That make your life so sweet

Oh how I want my grandchildren to know how special and loved and sought after they are by their Papa D and Bo, but so much more than that I want them to know there is a God so big and so amazing that pursues them and calls them to be His own. That they will know the love of Christ and have all the benefits of walking with Him; in His way.

I love you & He loves you more!

Lord, I pray that I will be a light of love, acceptance, support, encouragement and steadfast commitment to helping my grandchildren seek You in their life. Prepare their hearts for the hour You will call them to salvation. I give You the glory! Amen.
