Transition

"And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which," He said, "you have heard from Me;" Acts 1:4

The risen Lord appeared to the apostles many times over the forty days and instructed them to 'wait'. Truly a transitional time for them.

Are you caught in a time of transition?

~Stay vigilant; this is a time spiritual warfare is at its worst.

~Stay prayerful; so you can be connected with Christ.

~Stay in the Word; because the truth is the weapon against the lies of the enemy.

God is faithful, you can trust Him with your life; the ups and downs and inbetweens, even when you do not know what the future holds. If we focus on our relationship with Christ and learn to let God have control instead of letting our circumstances control us we will learn to depend on Him and step out in faith in total obedience when He moves us.

Nobody really likes change, do we, but it's a part of life. Transition is a waiting period in which change happens but it allows our mind to embrace it. A lot of times when we are trapped in transition it is to let our mind catch up with where God is leading. We must allow Him to be our fierce guide, our protector, and our deliverer.

In transition, if we are not careful the enemy can attack us because he knows we are vulnerable. You must call on the Lord and He will redeem you and set you on the right path. As we are going through this down time we should rely on God to show us what He has for us and how we are to follow Him.

"Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand."

(Ja. 5:7,8)

Transition is the process or a period of changing one state or condition to another. Let God take up the spaces of your heart and mind so that as you move into a new place you will be more able to reap the benefits of all God has for you.

When you're in transition there is a growing, stretching, and strengthening of who you are into what God has for you. Most of our lives we are experiencing a time of being in transition, moving from one place to another and one season to another. It is up to us how we will handle it.

"But may the God of all grace who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you." (1 Pet. 5:10)

I love you and He loves you more!

Lord, May we look to you during our waiting with positive affirmations of Your love and grace over us. May we rest and seek You and be ready to be moved by You when the time comes. Allow us to feel Your presence in a sure and steadfast way. In Jesus' name. Amen.
