"But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You." Psalm 5:11
Her laughter fills the room. Her smiles can be seen from far away. Her joy is expressed in every giggle and glimmer of her eye. Logan expresses herself so eagerly in every mood she might feel for that moment but when her daddy throws her into the air and turns her flips and she gleefully falls back, only to be caught by his knowing hands, she rejoices in her amusement of their time spent together. They share a precious bond of a father and daughter and I have to say it thrills my heart to get to watch their bond grow stronger with each passing day.
Logan loves her daddy with an awe-inspiring love. She looks up to him as her protector (and free amusement ride). In her nineteen months of being on this earth he has become a superhero in her eyes. I can safely say she trusts him in every capacity that a baby can. As she grows and matures, their relationship will change from time to time and the love and trust she has for him will only deepen and grow stronger.
Every time I see them playing together (both of them being daredevils) I am reminded of our relationship with our heavenly Father. Our God longs for that relationship with each one of us. He desires our complete trust in Him, all the while rejoicing in His name.
So how about we relax in His arms and know the One who calls us by our name. Allow Him to hold us in His arms and maybe even pitch us into the air to see the joy in our eyes.
"The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." (Ps. 18:2)
I love you & He loves you more!
Lord, What better way to know You more than to watch what takes place between an earthly father and his daughter through the lens of my heart. Continue to bless them as they grow together. Thank You for speaking so clearly to me in the moments of my life, may I never take one moment for granted. I love You. Amen.
Hello, Bill.
I have fear in My eyes as I witness their escapades...
I have caught myself praying more and more for the lost especially during these times that they would find Jesus.
I talked to mom on the phone and she is bright and cheerful and had been working in her yard this morning. She said she is feeling great and well rested and cannot believe she had a treatment just yesterday.
All the prayers are working. Praise God!

Kristen,
😘😘😘
Good morning, Kim.
I really enjoyed this blog. At least in California few parents toss their kids and catch them. I always did. I had to stop. I would toss a little one and sheer terror would reflect in their eyes.
I believe that is a good picture for people who do not have faith in our Savior during these troubling times.
I am praying for your mother. Hopefully yesterday went well. Thank you for your heart, for your willingness to share.
God bless.
