When life gets tough.
When things don't go the way you plan.
When terrible things happen, outside of your control.
We must run to Jesus! Lean in hard! Cling to Him! We must remember Who He is, what He is capable of, and that His promises are tried and true. God is who He says He is and He will do what He says He will do.
"Jesus said to him. "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!" (Mark 9:23,24) How often I pray that prayer. Yes Lord, I believe but help my unbelief. My shortcomings. My failures. My inadequacies.
I want to challenge you today to get 'prayed up'. To be real and honest with God. To be strong in the Lord. We cannot wait until tragedy strikes to fall on our knees. We must do it now; everyday in everyway. Pray for yourself, your husband and your children.
I love you & He loves you more!
Lord, Help us to pray. Open our hearts to You so that we may pour out our every desire, hope, need, and concern to You. May we be so open and honest in our conversations with You that your will becomes our will. In Jesus' name. Amen.
