Got Evidence?

We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints; because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;" Colossians 1:3-6

Colossians is a letter written by Paul to the church of Colossae during his imprisonment. He was encouraging them, but also warning them of their walk in the faith. He was reminding them to be true to themselves and who they were in Christ to all who were watching. Always remembering the hope that was laid up for them in heaven on the day of their salvation.

Through Paul's example I want to be an encourager. To my two daughters-in-law and to all that cross this site, you are a beloved daughter and son. He chose you! He loves you! He desired for you to accept Him, for your name is written in the Lamb's book of life if You know Jesus as your Savior. Hallelujah! Now walk with Him. In all you do acknowledge Him, giving Him the glory. Allow His fruit to build in you, all the while acknowledging it, letting it be known and shared with all the world.

We are so blessed to live in a world where we can speak His name freely, carry our bibles wherever we go and own multiple copies in our homes. Be grateful for those blessings and shine your light for the whole world to see. Use your platform - home, work, ministry, friends, neighbors, social media, etc. for Him; glorifying His name. Your world and the rest of us need to hear you. We lay up our treasures in heaven where they will last for an eternity. That is what's of most importance!

I love you & He loves you more!

Lord, May we live out loud for You. Help us, show us, strengthen us. May we be encouragers as Paul was to our Christian brothers and sisters. May we keep the faith and be sure of what we believe, telling the gospel wherever we go that You are God, the One and only! In Jesus' name. Amen.
